As with music, the rich timber of sound is expressed in Tekleab’s visual works like a melody that weaves in and out of our space, pulling the viewer through layers of color, light and mass. It allows for the appreciation of the deeper and highly abstract qualities of the stimuli that trigger and guide the hand of a mature artist with profound compassion for humanity. She is a welcome addition to the ranks of salient arts of our times.
